View the beautiful Maine countryside from our vintage railcars or enjoy lunch in the dining car. Experience Maine's outdoors from our popular open air car. The photo opportunities are endless with panoramic views of Lake Winnecook, rivers, streams and woodlands.

Visit the Belfast & Moosehead Lake Railroad on the shores of beautiful Penobscot Bay! Belfast Station is located in a vintage railcar and offers a unique rail excursion through the coastal woodlands powered by our classic GE 70 ton locomotive. Ride in our Swedish railcars and enjoy lunch in the dining car while you view the shimmering waters of Maine's largest bay and the pristine woodlands, rolling fields, and streams of Waldo County. This 1 hr and 45-minute round trip excursion includes beautiful views of Belfast Harbor, its rivers, and coves. Seafood restaurants, theaters, and downtown shops are just a short walk away.
