Description of this Bowling Green area Restaurant: Sahara Steakhouse opened in 1972 and started serving steaks, chicken, and seafood to the 2.5 million annual visitors to the Mammoth Cave Area. We put our reputation on the table with each steak served with our original seasoning that has satisfied customers from all over the world. Our famous vegetable beef soup is also very popular with our guests. The restaurant is very casual and welcomes visitors to sample the local cuisine instead of the "chain" restaurants.
Sahara Steakhouse cuts their own steaks fresh each day and serves Ribeye, Sirloin, N.Y. Strip, and Filets unlike any other steak that you have ever tasted. Our steaks are seasoned with our special spices and char grilled for the best flavor. We also serve Teriyaki Chicken, Lemon Pepper Chicken, Mahi Mahi, Orange Roughy, and our famous Beek Kabobs. All entrees include our soup and salad bar and for after dinner, we recommend one of our gourmet desserts.
Sahara Steakhouse is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. CST and our prices are very reasonable.
