In Cowan, we have not only preserved history, we are still making history! We offer some of the area's finest dining establishments, all of which arew locally owned! Our historic downtown is filled with specialty stores and art galleries for an old-fashioned shopping experience! The 150-year old downtown hotel has been beautifully restored and brought back to life as a charming bed and breakfast inn! We also converted an old church into a performing arts center.
In Cowan, you can relax in the downtown railroad park and watch this busy little town buzz with activity. We are located right in the heart of some of the most beautiful, unspoiled natural landscape in the entire Southeast. Cultural attractions abound us and happen throughout the year.
