| Description | This event is a series of fast, 5-minute one-to-one exchanges or "mini dates." Throughout the event, men and women pair off, talk for a short, limited time, and then move on to the next potential "date." After each date, daters fill in a "yes" or "no" on their date cards. If the attraction is mutual, a match is made and they're given each other's phone number to arrange for an independent date. The daytime event is an organized, low-pressure setting that appeals to many. It eliminates the awkwardness of asking for a telephone number or feeling pressure to give a number, and it provides a sure-fire way to meet many people in a short period of time.
