The celebration is one of the largest in the State of Mississippi bringing thousands of individuals together to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The diverse celebration is a composition of numerous events featuring musical entertainment, student drawing and essay competition, youth step-show, talent competition, concert of choirs, civil rights national speaker, oasis of freedom and justice awards banquet, unsung heroes honorees, community breakfast and other activities. Dream 365 MLK Celebration has the honor of being named among the Top 20 Events by the Southeast Tourism Society and the Mississippi University for Women รป The Office of Diversity Education and Programs Strategic Plan for Promoting Diversity.
