Wildlife Ecology: Florida Box Turtle, Our Landscape Architect
Weedon Island Preserve, 1800 Weedon Drive N.E., St. Petersburg
Get introduced to our own native landscape architect, the Florida box turtle. Through their habits, traits and lifestyles, these reptiles revitalize and maintain native vegetation throughout Pinellas County in some very unusual ways. Florida box turtles will be attending and participating in this program. Free and great for ages 10 and up. Call (727) 453-6500 to register.
