Description of this San Francisco Attraction: From Shouka the killer whale to Medusa, the tallest and loopiest roller coaster in Northern California, Six Flags Marine World is an action-packed adventure for guests of all ages. New for 2005 is Ocean Discovery – Where the Ocean Touches You. Ocean Discovery is an interactive animal encounter amidst a Caribbean theme featuring Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, Magellanic penguins, southern stingrays and adorable sea lions. Park guests can enjoy the experience of a lifetime as they touch and feed dolphins and southern stingrays in their habitats. Adjacent to the interactive pools is a two-tier exhibit where visitors can enjoy the playful antics of penguins above ground or through a special underwater viewing area. Surrounding Ocean Discovery are several educational elements, including the park’s very own trainers who can answer questions and share information about these magnificent animals. America’s first combination wildlife park, oceanarium and theme park, Six Flags Marine World is home to more than 2,500 animals, 35 fun-filled rides and nine amazing shows. Six Flags Marine World is located beside Lake Chabot on I-80, between San Francisco and Sacramento.

Description of this San Francisco area Attraction: Six Flags Waterworld Concord is the Bay Area’s most popular water park, offering more than a million gallons of beat-the-heat family fun. Ride the ultimate storm this summer with water park’s newest thrill ride, Tornado. Riders will be sucked into Tornado, beginning their experience at 75 feet in the air, then blasting down a 131-foot long tunnel, descending into a large, open-ended funnel. The ride’s specially designed 4-person cloverleaf shaped tubes hug the inside of the funnel, splashing back and forth on 5,000 gallons of swirling water. Six Flags Waterworld Concord is located at I-680 and Willow Pass Road in the center of Concord.
