At the coastline, the average high in January is 65 degrees Fahrenheit with an average low of 49. July - August are the hottest months, with ranges from 76/77 down to 66/67. Inland temperatures are higher in summer and lower in winter. San Diego North has a surfeit of sun, averaging only 9.5 inches of rainfall most years, most of it falling between December and mid-April. Transportation
Whether by train, bus or automobile, San Diego North is accessible and easy to navigate. The new Sprinter light rail train connects the cities of Escondido, San Marcos, Vista and Oceanside. The sprinter services 15 stations every half hour along San Diego North’s Highway 78 corridor. San Diego North coastal room rates average $156 dollars and inland room rates average $105 dollars, with rates being higher in the summer and lower in winter.
