Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament
Medieval Dinner and Tournament

Category:     Buena Park Theme Park near Anaheim, California

Description of this Anaheim area Attraction: Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament offers an exciting evening of quality family entertainment based on the glory of the Middle Ages. Guests experience spectacular pageantry, dramatic horsemanship, swordplay, sorcery and romance while feasting on a four-course banquet served in true medieval, pre-silverware fashion. The experience begins as guests enter the 11th century European-style castle. Once inside they are greeted by the King and Queen who invite them to share in a regal banquet and cheer for the heroes of the realm. In The Hall of Arms, guests admire a display of medieval artifacts. There are coats of arms and a spectacular display of medieval weapons. As the evening begins, trumpeters herald the guests into the Grand Ceremonial Arena where they are seated in one of six color-coded sections corresponding to the colors of the knights. Fifty servers attend to every need of the guests who feast on a four course meal. The arena fills quickly with the thunder of hooves as the King of Arms leads the cast through a spectacular display of equestrian skills and pageantry. The pace quickens as the Tournament of Games begins. The knights on horseback face their competition in games of skill. The experience culminates as trumpeters summon the knights for a tournament. Guests join in the fun as they cheer their knights to victory in authentic and dangerous sword and spear fights. Following the performance, guests are invited to join the King, Queen and the knights in the “Knight Club” to collect autographs, mingle and have fun.
