Description	Parkers Crossroads is the site of battle fought Dec. 31, 1862 between the forces of Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest and Union General Jeremiah C. Sullivan. This 1400 acre historic battlefield is interpreted by both driving and walking tours. Tour brochure available at visitors center. Most trails are wheelchair accessible. An audio tour is available. Dedicated in 2006, the Park currently consists of 300 acres. The visitors center is located 1/2 mile south of Interstate 40 on Hwy 22. The Park hosts special events year round.
