DescriptionThe Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry is Charleston’s first hands-on learning place for children and families. The Mission of the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry is to spark the love of learning in all children ages three months to twelve years through interactive, interdisciplinary hands-on environments and experiences with the arts, sciences and humanities while fostering creative thinking and problem solving skills and a belief in their own potential.
Children can explore the life of a shrimper on the Anna Marie, medieval life in Castle Stories, learn about the power of water in WaterWise, sponsored by SCE&G, gravity and motion in Raceways, art in Creativity Castle and tunnels and slides in Totally Toddler.
