| Description | Step into the lives of pioneers Annie & Jay Warmke as you tour Blue Rock Station, a 38-acre Ohio green living homestead featuring Ohio's first Earthship (a house made of old tires, cans, bottles, earth - that heats itself with the rays of the sun and the warmth of the earth - and captures and recycles its own water). Buildings include a vaulted strawbale chicken "chalet", the plastic bottle greenhouse & more. Feed goats & say "hello" to the llamas - or schedule a trek with them to walk in the woods. Enjoy a snack from the solar oven, learn about heirloom plants, natural fertilizers and perticides... or just listen to nature and take a peaceful moment to breath deeply.
