DescriptionOur TIGERS Preservation Station located in North Myrtle Beach at Barefoot Landing will be open daily begining March 14th and running until the end of September. The current hours of operation are from 5pm to around 10pm daily. It is free to come and see the tigers upclose at the exhibit. The animals at the exhibit only visit for afternoon and may include white tigers, tabby tigers, bengal tigers, siberian tigers and ligers. The animals on exhibit vary daily. There are no shows.

If you would like to get your photo taken with a baby or adult tiger, photos are available starting at $40.00 for up to 4 or 5 people. All of the proceeds from the sales of the photos and the gift shop merchandise go directly to the care and maintenance of the animals and their brothers and sisters at home.

Since this exhibit is influenced by the forces of nature, the hours and days of operation for this exhibit can vary. Please call (843)361-4552 for the current information regarding the weather and for our current hours. We try to be there every day during the summer, but if it is a torrential downpour the animals do not enjoy it, so they will not come.

*****Unbelievably cool. This was a dream come true for us! Just being able to hold and experience the animals that close is soemthing to remember for the rest of your life. You really get a deep appreciation for the animals power and beauty. It is a must-see while in Myrtle Beach! Male between 26 and 5506-15-06
*****Best money we spent. We loved it so much we came back to visit the preservation area. It was very educational & interesting the whole time. We dreamed of coming here since we heard about it on the discovery channel in CT. So when we moved to NC we had to go. It's as close to the wild as possible. The tour was about 3 hours, we met alot of animal ambasodors. They do provide a lite snack in between and at end of tour. We also got a picture/DVD package of the experience! Mention that you are military-with proof-and you get a huge discount on that part. Don't know when that ends! Also drink plenty of water prior,but use bathroom before tour starts! It was pretty hot out when we went(mid August) you will sweat ALOT. Family with young children08-20-09
