So Much to Sea!
Step back in time onboard St Roch, Canada’s celebrated RCMP Arctic schooner housed ashore. Wander the ship’s narrow corridors, where it is still 1944 and you are one of the crew on her second and most famous voyage through the treacherous Northwest Passage.
The Maritime Museum has lots to see and do for landlubbers and old salts. Explore the many exhibits the museum has to offer – pirates, shipwrecks, lighthouses, the early fur trade, fireboats, warships named Vancouver, deep-ocean exploration, shipbuilding, coastal and transpacific steamship lines, cruise ships and so much more. Experience the fun of Alcan Children’s Maritime Discovery Centre and see working and historic vessels in Heritage Harbour.
