| Description | Sully is the 1794 home of Richard Bland Lee, Northern Virginia's first congressman and uncle to Robert E. Lee. The grounds of Sully include the original 1794 house, fully furnished with period artifacts, the original kitchen/laundry, smokehouse, and dairy, and a representative slave quarter.
Guided tours are given daily, except Tuesdays, from 11am-4pm, with tours beginning on the hour. Sully also holds many special events throughout the year, such as a Civil War Weekend, War of 1812 Muster, Antique Car Show, Candlelight Tours, and more. |
