| Description | The lights go up, the curtain opens and Pinocchio, Geppetto, the talking Cricket and the Blue Fairy begin the delightful, memorable story of PINOCCHIO, by Carlo Collodi. The show opens on the brilliant stage of the Puppet Parlor Theater in Elkhart’s Concord Mall.
The Puppet Parlor Theater in the Mall, features a stage twelve feet wide and fourteen feet deep. Elaborate scene changes, music in the background and the costumed marionettes make for
an enchanting presentation.
The theater, which seats one hundred and fifty people, offers a very personal theatre experience and is a wonderful way to introduce children to the arts. We believe too that marionette puppet shows are for adults, as well as, children.We have a beautiful store in the front, which sells a unique assortment of puppets and marionettes, small puppet theatre models, stuffed animals,
books, prints, costume accessories.
Puppetry classes will begin in the fall. Please call for information.
Puppet-themed birthday parties, fund raisers and events can be held at the
theatre.

The theatre is looking for local artistic people, to volunteer or work in the theatre. These are people who want to learn to become puppeteers, have some knowledge of lighting and sound, carpentry and electrical skills and set design. Seamtresses and artists are needed. We are looking for sales and marketing people, too.
