| Description | The purpose of the museum is to tell the story of African Americans in all their permutations: family life, Civil Rights movement, arts and entertainment, inventions, sports, medicine, architecture, politics, religion, law, technology, etc.. Our mission statement:
“Dedicated to preserve, maintain and educate the public on the history of African-American ancestors in the State of Louisiana and Tangipahoa parish in collaboration with other entities of cultural interest throughout the United States of America and abroad through artistic endeavors”. |
