Description	Greenwood Plantation built in 1830 by planter-politician W.R. Barrow, brother to Mrs. Turnbull at Rosedown Plantation. Barrow farmed cotton and sugar on 12,000 acres which the family lost at the end on the civil war. Later purchased by F. S. Percy and used as a faimly home and tourist attraction until lightning struck the home and it burned down. In l968 the current owner reconsturcted Greenwood to be just like the original. In l984 received some of the original furniture from the Barrows. Richard Barnes, the current owner has the home open to the public and has a B&B on the grounds. Used in several movies, the most popular being "North and South",
