DescriptionSegway Tours are the hottest new trend in guided tours all over the world – and Segway Experience of Chicago has been offering these exciting guided Chicago tours for over two years!

Chicago is particularly accommodating to Segway Personal Transporters because the Mayor of Chicago is an enormous fan of them and has even purchased a large quantity for use in various City divisions, including the Police and Fire Departments.

As a result of the Mayor’s foresight, Segway Personal Transporters are allowed to travel anywhere a pedestrian can go, including sidewalks and bike paths. Segway Experience of Chicago – as the only authorized Segway Touring and Sales dealership for the City of Chicago – has become the largest Segway tour operator in the country, with over two dozen Segways available in our fleet.

Our certified Segway Tour Captains provide our patrons with thorough, professional training followed by an unforgettable guided tour of Chicago’s “front yard.” Our Chicago Tours with Segway Experience include several Chicago skyline photo stops as guests glide around Millennium Park, through Daley Bicentennial Plaza, and southbound along Chicago’s Lakefront Path, seeing Chicago in a whole new way. We glide all the way to Museum Campus – taking in the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium & Adler Planetarium – and visit Buckingham Fountain and the Rose Gardens of Grant Park, all the while hearing fascinating stories and historical information about our Windy City. **Not happy at all with the service they provided. First they didn't have enough machines to accommodate my group, then after I did lots of legwork to arrange a group with another vendor they suddenly were able to accommodate us. They "didn't want to lose our business" meaning they didn't want to lose our money. When one of our group was unable to make it due to a flight delay, they were unwavering on their no refund policy - this is the thanks I get for bringing over $800 in business to them?!? You can't refund me the purchase price of one ticket?? Please! Their unrelenting policy of no refunds exemplifies their lack of customer service, not to mention professionalism. The tour itself was ok provided you get the new generation of Segways; the old ones they had us on were rickety and worn out. Segway experience people please keep this in mind: If you don't take care of your customers, your competition will. Potential users: go with the competition! Find one of the handful of other companies that do these tours. I am left with a very sour memory of the experience.Male between 26 and 5505-20-08
