DescriptionMerMan Metal sculptures by artist Michael Sauro. His imaginative pieces are constructed of recycled antique and found metals on exhibit along with Brenda Ellis Sauro's original oil paintings and mermaid art.
The Gallery exhibits Fine Arts and metal sculpture featuring guest artists and artisans each First Friday of the month with receptions starting in June, ending in September, 2009.
New this year is the Artful Hands Fiber Studio, a creative space in a lovely light filled antique home for rug hooking, spinning and knitting, offering classes, workshops and supplies.

*****The Painted Mermaid is filled with beautiful paintings of Mermaids, Maine landscapes from local artists, and has a delightful artist loft studio for aspiring artists to take classes. I purchased two necklaces(glass)and everytime I wear them people stop me and admire them. The Painted Mermaid is a hidden gem. Stop by and you will get a real taste of Maine as you enter the store.
