With the hustle and bustle of the world, it’s more important than ever to take a break from your mundane day-to-day routine. With its pristine rivers and lakes, unparalleled outdoor activities and affordable accommodations, it’s easy to see why Seminole County is Florida’s natural choice. Here you’ll take a step into the world of Central Florida’s untouched scenery for a relaxing and invigorating stay without the mind-boggling traffic and cluttered city streets.
The experience begins at the brand new Westin Hotel in Lake Mary, where you will find luxury in the heart of Seminole County. Friday morning, you’ll get the day started at the Peach Valley Café, where the appetites are big and the pancakes are bigger. Then it’s time to hit the trails for a biking and walking tour of Seminole County for a first-hand glimpse into the beauty of the area.
After lunch, at one of Seminole County’s unique food establishments, you’ll be provided with some serious retail therapy as you are introduced to our largest mall, the Seminole Town Center. Here you can hit the sales at stores like Coach, Macys, Dillard’s or the recently opened H & M, or sample some goodies from the Godiva Chocolatier shop.
Wrap up the day by stepping on board the Rivership Romance for an exquisite dining experience while cruising through the waters of the St. John’s River. The cruise promises food, fun and dancing while the tour explores some of Central Florida’s most beautiful sights. It’s a perfect place to host groups for both business and pleasure.
As your journey continues, you’ll start the next day off buzzing at high speeds through Lake Jesup with the Black Hammock Adventures airboat tour guides. Keep your eye out for some exquisite wildlife and foliage, but don’t feed the alligators—they bite. But don’t worry, you can take a bite out of them when you return to shore for lunch where gator is served as one of the many menu items you can enjoy.
But this wild ride isn’t over after lunch. Prepare to enter the exotic Central Florida Zoo and explore the many species of animals. Try out the ZOOm Air Aerial Adventure courses - the only one of its kind in the country. Test your agility and balance through game obstacles and zip lines that stand up to 50 feet in the air!
The day concludes at the Hilton Altamonte Springs for dinner, but don’t get too comfortable because the night is young. After dinner gear up for some time on the town to introduce yourself to some of the city’s most hopping night-spots.
Day three begins with an early game of golf at the Timacuan Golf and Country Club. This championship course is ranked “14th Best in the State.” It’s open to the public, so if you’re just visiting you don’t need to be a member to enjoy this amazing golf course.
After a round of golf, catch a show at the Wayne Densch Performing Art Center. This theatre is located in the heart of historic downtown Sanford. You can enjoy a matinee or evening production of a musical, opera, ballet, comedy, and more.
Travel over to Big Tree Park, home of “The Senator,” a 3,500-year-old tree. This is the oldest Bald Cypress tree in the country and stands over 129 feet tall. Enjoy a stroll through the park until sunset and see natural vegetation and marshlands.
It’s time to head back to your hotel and pack to leave. Be sure to come back again and discover more of Seminole County – Florida’s natural choice.
