| Description | As educators, you shape the lives of children every day. The Ritz Theatre would like to join you in your efforts by exposing your students to the arts with live theatrical productions in our 15th annual Discovery Series Educational Programs.
Live theatre provides young people with a sense of community by giving them a shared, live creative experience. These performances elicit contemplative thought, sustained discourse and deep-felt emotion. Our audiences are presented with a microcosm of the world, featuring characters whose dilemmas mirror their own.
These nationally touring productions are selected for their relevance to your coursework. Special study guides precede each performance, one way to tie the student’s theatre experience into the classroom study.
Each year, over 10,000 school children and their teacher’s take advantage of The Ritz Theatre Discovery Series. A historic setting, live theatre and strong moral messages will help shape the future of the children in your classroom. Come along...
