Stay in one of the few remaining Greek Revival Southern Antebellum Homes, Bienvenue House Bed and Breakfast built in 1830 (National Register of Historic Places). The home entirely built from cypress wood has hand blown glass windows, cypress floors and period antiques. Each bedroom has a fireplace and bathroom with antique claw foot bathtub. Awake to a full gourmet Cajun breakfast before seeing Zydeco/Cajun acts, touring the historic town, taking a swamp tour of Lake Martin, antique hunting or visiting the Longfellow Evangeline State Park (3 blocks away) to tour the Creole Plantation. Or just relax in the outside galley, backyard cypress swings surrounded by huge oaks! In the mornings a full gourmet breakfast is provided.
