| ***** | We have been to Katahdin Cabins (also referred to as Airport Cabins)four times. Our very first trip was back in March 2007. We had a great time! Our group (8 in total) stayed for 2 nights and the service was excellent. Homemade muffins and coffee in the morning; fresh baked cookies waiting for us in our cabins in the late afternoon and Skip (owner) even made us a very delicious key lime pie for dessert one night. Once again the cabins were very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. We would definitely recommend a stay at Katahdin Cabins!

| ***** | AMAZING STAY at the Katahdin Cabins! Upon pulling into the cabins parking lot we knew we had made the right choice! Clean tidy grounds - crisp adorable classic New England tourist cottages in a bright yellow color. It was obvious that the owners (Skip & Nicole) were constantly working to make everything just right to try & please their guests. Cabins were cozy I admit - but the smaller cottage we were in was just perfect for a couple. And CLEAN - even under the beds (amazingly comfortable pillow-top mattress!). And the muffins & cookies served daily? WOW - the Mocha Buttermilk muffins? - SUPERB! The Pumpkin Ricotta muffins? SUPERB! Don't even get me started on the chocolate-chocolate chip cookies or the Key Lime cookies! WE WILL BE BACK! | Female between 26 and 55 | 11-01-08 |
| ***** | Old Schools Hospitality at the Katahdin Cabins! My girlfriend & I had a great stay at the cabins in September. Found the info here & on their website to be exactly as the cabins really are - super clean, comfortable & quiet. Amazing cookies, muffins & coffee. Skip & Nicole actually took the time to help us with our hiking plans, places to eat, even find a car repair shop after driving the bumpy BSP roads! You just do not find hosts who are so attentive without being smothering like this anymore. Coming to the Baxter State Park or 100 Mile Wilderness Region?
