User Rating:

Description of this Sedona Attraction: The Sedona Heritage Museum is housed in the Jordan home, orchard and fruit packing sheds; listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A few blocks from Uptown Sedona, the Museum focuses on the pioneer history of the greater Sedona area, including the early families, ranching and cowboys, almost 100 movies made in Sedona, Forest Service local impact, and the local fruit orchard industry. The rock fruit packing shed houses Oak Creek Canyon's first fire truck and the Jordan's mechanized apple sorter. For visiting families there are kids' activities. See the Museum's web-site for program calendar of special events. The red rock home and fruit packing shed sit in a city park, above the Uptown area with magnificent views of Sedona's rock formations. The almost 5 acre park has picnic tables and a walking trail.
