DescriptionThe 45th Infantry Division Museum in Oklahoma City is the nation's largest state operated military history museum depicting the military history of the state of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma National Guard. Includes a fascinating display of memorabilia collected from Hitler's apartment when it was captured by the 45th and a collection of over 200 original "Willie and Joe" cartoons by famous cartoonist Bill Mauldin, himself a Thunderbird. Other exhibits include displays of artifacts from the days of the early west, the American Civil War, WW1, WWII, the Korean War, Desert Storm, and the Global War on Terror. See original uniforms, firearms, dioramas, and an outdoor military park with over 60 military vehicles, aircraft and artillery pieces.

Entry is free to the general public.

Open Hours:
You can visit the 45th Infantry Division Museum from 9:00am to 4:15pm (Tuesday to Friday), 10:00am to 4:15pm (Saturday) and 1:00pm to 4:15pm (Sunday). The outdoor park is closed NLT 5:00pm. The musuem is closed on Mondays.
