Step into this 40,000 square foot museum and enter a world of sweetheart pillows, ration books, "V Mail", Mothers Flags, "Victory Puzzles" and thousands of items representing the homefront and fighting fronts during World War II. Experience the thrill of seeing two of only a few remaining Curtiss P-40 World War II fighter airplanes left in the world and a very rare World War II P-51C razorback Mustang fighter airplane. Compare their technology with the museum's World War I DR-7 Fakker Tri-Plane replica German fighter airplane and then view survival gear, equipment, a link trainer and a Norden Bombsight, all examples of the most advanced technology know to mankind during the 1940's. Step through the Berlin Wall into the Cold War Era of Korea and Vietnam and experience the jet technology of the 1950's and 1960's through the collection of rare cut-away jet engines, an F-86 Sabre Jet, and a Russian Mig 17. Collections of personal memorabilia from Korean and Vietnam Veterans present the personal side of the Cold War Era and life in American during those years.
