Description | The League of NH Craftsmen Meredith Fine Craft Gallery is hosting an exhibit titled Rollin’ In Dough- a collection of rolling pins and other kitchen essentials hand made by various artists.
Rolling pins were invented in the 9th century in Italy in what was then Etrucia.
Made from wood, stone, baked clay or glass they were the heroes of the kitchen. Today they are still an essential tool for most culinary enthusiasts.
League juried wood workers have created beautiful rolling pins made from maple, cherry, and walnut in both the traditional style and the French style. Other kitchen essentials included in the exhibit are batter bowls, pie plates, aprons, and potholders.
Stop in the Gallery to see these beautifully hand-crafted kitchen tools, a must have for the kitchen of culinary delights where functionality meets exquisite craftsmanship.
